Matrix

MATRIX is a leading company from the United States, which manufactures and markets professional hair care, styling and coloring products.

It was founded in 1980 by a couple, husband and wife, Arnie and Sydell Miller, Mr. Miller previously being a hair-stylist with over 20 years of experience. Mr. Miller founded another company, Ardell, in the early 1970s to sell false eyelashes to retailers and beauty salons.

In the late 1970s, Mr. Miller noticed that the retail market was declining and decided to sell Ardell in order to focus on building MATRIX, through which he would market the products only to hair care professionals. Millers wanted to offer hairstylists a comprehensive range of products to help them develop their businesses and provide the means to capitalize on their talent and creativity.

Now, two decades later, the original ideas are still strong, and Matrix is committed to developing the salon professional, offering a wide range of hair care products, hair dyes and hair texture products: shampoo, conditioner hair conditioner, fixative, hair gel, hair paste and powder, hair spray and mousse, hair treatments and, last but not least, a wide range of hair dye.

What distinguishes MATRIX from other manufacturers of care, coloring and styling products is the commitment to minimize the impact on the planet. Each formula is thought out with care for the environment, and each packaging is made from recycled plastic or from a reduced amount of plastic.
